Dear Christian Assembly family,

As you are well aware, the global spread of COVID-19 has been a source of deep concern for many people. Times like these can be extremely unsettling. This is why I am reaching out to our church family with a word of encouragement.

Psalm 46:1-2 reminds us of an amazing truth concerning the Lord our God, it says; God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea (end).

Although it seems as if COVID-19 has taken the world by storm. God’s Word reminds us that we do have a place of protection and safety, that place is God! He is our very present help in trouble. He is by our side at every moment, and He will be our help! Because of this amazing truth we have no reason to fear, be encouraged!

I would also like to take a moment to say that the safety and well-being of our church family is of utmost importance to the leadership team at CA Church. Because of this, we have decided to heed the recommendations of health professionals and postpone all of our in-person meetings till further notice. But thanks to the gift of technology we are still able to join together for prayer, praise and worship as a church family. Please join us on Sunday (10:00am) and Wednesday (06.30pm) for our virtual services on Facebook at Christian Assembly Church. Let’s enjoy amazing times together in the Lord’s presence!

Also, please continue to generously contribute by visiting our church website at christianassemblynow.org and hit the “Donate Now” button. If you prefer, you may send your contribution by mail to 9 Cummings Street, Somerville MA, 02145.

Thank you and God bless you!
